Average users spend at least 25% of their online time with social media. But their attention span is short and can be measured in seconds. So if you want to catch their attention in social media timelines or Instagram Stories, you’ve got to produce captivating content: informative and emotional photos, video stories which start with action, infographics which present your story in a nutshell.

The more snackable your stories are, the more likely you will reach your followers. They must be able to grasp your content quickly and digest it easily. That doesn’t mean that your social media stories have to be shallow, but rather very much to the point.

The Perfect Post: how to write better texts for social media


According to Google, users expect a mobile website to load within three seconds. They want information quickly. This also applies to social media posts. In this workshop, we focus on the perfect text post - the first words which grab your readers’ attention, crisp texts and cliffhangers that trigger action on the part of the users.
You’ll also learn what makes social media work great, how you can quickly find relevant topics for your community and communicate with it adequately. (With many exercises and best practice examples of successful company and journalistic campaigns.)

TikTok: the ultimate guide

TikTok is booming: 100 million (young) people use the app in Europe and 700 million worldwide. Publishing houses and online outfits are also increasingly presenting their content in the app. But many media professionals do not yet know exactly what to do with TikTok. Others would like to try out the platform, but they have no strategy. Therefore, in this course you’ll learn: How TikTok and its algorithm work, which videos are successful and what this means for journalistic and PR content. In addition, the participants will produce TikTok videos themselves and receive feedback on their results.
